ANTIQUES ROADSHOW, the most-watched television series on PBS, taped its 14th production season in 2009. ROADSHOW is produced for PBS by WGBH-TV Boston, and reaches approximately 10 million viewers weekly. PMTV has provided ROADSHOW with Mobile Television Production trucks and support services at 97 events in over 50 locations throughout the U.S. since the show's inception in 1996. The 2009 season included stops in Atlantic CIty NJ, Raleigh NC, Madison WI, Denver CO, Phoenix AZ and San Jose CA.
Part adventure, part history lesson, and part treasure hunt, seven-time Emmy® Award-nominated ANTIQUES ROADSHOW marks its fourteenth broadcast season in 2010. Veteran television personality Mark L. Walberg serves as series host. 2010 will mark the fourth season that WGBH has produced ANTIQUES ROADSHOW in High Definition 1080i format. The benefit of HD's enhanced video quality results in more precise images of the appraisal items, especially small jewelry and finely detailed antique items.
